Our Story
From Forgotten to Forever
Every piece we restore carries a history. Our work is to honor that history — and give each treasure a future worth cherishing.
How it began
A dresser at the side of the road
Patina to Pearl began with a single find — a Victorian oak dresser left at the curb on a rainy Tuesday morning. Most people drove past it. We pulled over.
Beneath the peeling paint and warped drawer fronts was something extraordinary: solid joinery, original brass hardware, and the kind of craftsmanship that simply isn't made anymore.
Three weeks later, that dresser had a new home — and we had a calling. What started as a weekend habit became a way of life: hunting for forgotten things, restoring them with care, and finding them homes that would love them again.
What we believe
Restoration is an act of respect
Slow over fast
We take the time a piece deserves. No shortcuts, no cover-ups — only honest work that will last another hundred years.
Character over perfection
We preserve patina, original hardware, and the marks of a life well-lived. Imperfection is part of the story.
Homes over warehouses
Every piece we restore is meant to be lived with, not stored. We match each treasure to a home that will truly love it.
The restoration process
What happens between find and forever
The Hunt
We scour estate sales, farm auctions, and antique markets — looking for pieces with good bones and great stories. The find is half the magic.
Assessment
Every piece is carefully examined. We document its condition, research its origins when possible, and plan a restoration that honors what it is.
The Work
Stripping, repairing, refinishing — all done by hand. We use traditional techniques and quality materials. No spray paint, no shortcuts.
The Reveal
When a piece is ready, it joins the collection. Each one is photographed, described, and offered to a home that will cherish it.
